Bankroll over $12K

Man ... what a swingy few days it has been. I decided to play some 2/4 today for the first time since getting my ars handed to me in February. I feel like I'm a much better player now.

So ... I played 577 hands and ended up $1244. There was around $200 worth of spew, but overall I played really well.

A few hands:

1. 66 > J4

I raise and mega-fish calls. I hit my set and decide to bet weakly. He calls. On the turn, I fill up and he donk-leads $25 into $66. I'm pretty sure he's got either a draw or a jack. It makes sense to raise in either case. I decide to raise kind of weakish and he calls. He shoves the river with a missed double gutter. In retrospect I should have made it $70 on the turn to get him more pot-committed.

2. QJ > 77

This guy is so bad ... raising and calling everything. Pre-flop I thought about re-raising but elected just to call. I check raise the flop. "Be willing to check-raise light OOP" was advice I was given. He calls the flop CR and the turn bet. I c/c the river and he's got 77.

3. JTs < KK

I don't bluff enough ... even when I should. Here, I call light in position and then call the flop. On the river, I should bet like $150 into $240. He would have a hard time calling with KK. I don't know ...

4. T8s = T8s

Ugh ... I just KNEW I was getting his stack here. How bad of a player is he?

Congrats on getting over $12k and especially getting back into 2/4. It's definitely going to be a profitable level for you.
